G4C Awards 2022

As headline sponsor of the G4C Awards for the seventh year running, NCBF were proud to celebrate the achievements of the young talent in the region and the organisations supporting and shaping the future leaders in the North East construction industry.

NCBF President, Tony Kay, was delighted to present the sustainability champion, Kirils Holstovs, AECOM, with this years award for North East Future Leader at the G4C North East Awards 2022.

Kirils Holstovs, said:

“I am greatly honoured to be named the G4C Future Leader in the North East, especially knowing the amazingly talented and inspirational young professionals we have in the region.

“One of the very key priorities of my career is ensuring ambitious and timely action on climate change and sustainable development and I was proud to champion change at global events including the Pre-COP26 Youth4Climate conference in Milan and at COP26 in Glasgow. It is encouraging that the industry has been following the developments in climate policy and the best practice in its practical implementation so closely.

“As a part of AECOM, I have been working to update the relevant processes and scale up our capacity to deliver low carbon solutions on bridge engineering schemes.”

An amazing talent in the industry, we are sure Kirils has an extremely bright future ahead of him!
