NB Clark invests in market-leading equipment

NB Clark based in Morpeth has invested in several new innovative dumpers in order to grow their plant equipment and increase productivity for their clients.

The construction firm, which covers contracts from Tyne & Wear across to Haltwhistle and up into the Scottish Borders, specialises in Greenfield excavations, site clearance and all types of contract work, with the hire of these vehicles being possible with or without their in-house trained operatives.

The state-of-the-art fleet of dumpers includes class-leading diesel engines, creating clean-burning power and with large tanks to reduce refuelling downtime.

In addition, exhaust gas is recirculated, reducing nitrogen oxides and the diesel filter cleans up exhaust emissions and selective catalytic reduction purifies gas, making them very efficient and greener than before.

The purpose of the Yanmar C50R tracked dump truck instead of the normal rubber tyre model is to create low ground pressure to minimise damage to the land. This model is also very useful for creating bund retaining walls and wind breaks and the rotating seat allows the driver to face in the direction of travel, ensuring maximum visibility and control within the vehicle. With a tipping skip of 180 degrees, the new fleet will improve efficiency, safety and the carbon footprint of the company.
